Sevierville 2017 - Estimate of Condo costs

Howdy!

We've been asked for an estimate of the condo costs for the 2017 Sevierville vacation.

Right now it looks like it will be between $80-100 per person for the week.
Plan for $100 and hopefully we can pleasantly surprise you and have it be a little less.

In the interest of transparency - here's a link to the Google Spreadsheet where I'm "doing the math".

Let me know if you have any questions.
Send an email to my hp.com email address (matt.weseloh) if you want the fastest response.

Thank you once again Matt and Amy for your generosity, planning and organization of yet another family get together! We are SO blessed and grateful!

For those interested in taking in the Ark Experience, costs for a one day ticket are $40 for adults, $31 for Senior Citizens, $28 for children 5-12 and free for children under 5. If you decide that you want to do the Ark and the Creation Museum (this may be tricky to do in one day), the cost for a combo ticket to both items is $60 for adults, $45 for Seniors, $34 for children 5-12 and free for children under 5.

It's important to note that the Ark and the Creation Museum are about 45 minutes apart.

Two other options for the Ark/Creation attractions are:
Unlimited 7 day combo (both attractions - visit as often as you like) for $99 for all ages (except under 5 who are free).
Annual Pass - $175 for all ages, except children under 5 who are free.

The Ark Experience is 3 and a half hours from where we are staying in Sevierville. That means 7 hours of driving in one day if you drive to and from in the same day. If budgets allow, it may not be a bad idea to leave early one morning, drive to Williamstown, KY, purchase tickets and enjoy an afternoon @ the Ark or Creation museum, then stay overnight @ a hotel so we can get up early and hit the other park the next day OR back to Seveirville.

Another option is to try to hit the museum on the way back home on our final Saturday.

Many options... Not everyone has to go to these attractions, but it is the primary reason our family was so interested in this location, so we will be going sometime during the week.

Love to all and we can't wait to see everyone again!

We definitely want to see the ark. Tom and I went to the museum with a group of older people on a tour sponsored by KML a couple of years ago and it's awesome. Thanks Matt for the cost info and Chris for the creation information. We are looking forward to vacation.
