There's always something new in the Smoky Mountains, and this year is no different. Check out these five can't-miss experiences that are all new for 2017.

5) "30: Celebrating Dolly in Bronze" Exhibit
This exhibit celebrates the 30th anniversary of downtown Sevierville's Dolly Parton statue as well as the artist who created it and the icon it represents. The exhibit can be seen at the Sevierville Visitor Center, 3099 Winfield Dunn Parkway in Kodak, Admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

4) Tino & Vino
Sipping wine and painting are popular to-do options for a night out, but you don't often get to follow the brush strokes of an acclaimed artist. The third Thursday of each month, famed regional artist Robert A. Tino hosts "Tino & Vino" at Courthouse Donuts. The price of admission gets you dinner, dessert and art supplies.

3) Sevier Air Trampoline & Ninja Warrior Park
It's more than your average trampoline park. Sure, there are plenty of springy surfaces in this 38,000-square-foot space, but you'll also find trampoline dodgeball courts, foam pits, a three-story net system for kids ages 2-10, a junior Ninja Warrior course and a real-deal Ninja Warrior course just like what you see on TV.

2) New Dollywood Rides
Dollywood is offering up not one, but two new rides during the 2017 season. The park officially opened for the season on March 18, but the rides, including Drop Line, a 200-foot tall free fall experience, and Whistle Punk Chaser, a new junior coaster, will both open this summer.

1) Burgeoning Downtown Sevierville
The area is growing and expanding with new shops, restaurants and events. From the free "Movies at the Commons" to the Bloomin' BBQ & Bluegrass festival to Bruce Street Brewfest, there's always something fun happening in Downtown Sevierville.
